Beverly Beach and Kate Tirion are the team leaders of To Build a Village™, a coalition of
highly-skilled pioneers in the green building industry and regenerative land development
fields. We have a shared commitment to make a far-reaching contribution to the rebirth of
Haiti and the empowerment of its people.

Architectural Hotwire Foam & Stoneworks: An independently owned commercial building firm that utilizes innovative green technology to design and construct durable products ranging from housing to watercraft. Certified installer for Dryvit and Parex stucco systems. Designed stucco system for Stofix Wall Systems, Certified trainer and installer for the Marbelite International Corporation. Certified Installer for ArcuStone and Arcus Plaster. Installs and uses diverse innovative techniques and finishes for commercial design projects.

Projects: Numerous commercial and public applications from drive-ins to library buildings (various location: Oregon, Idaho, Washington); and building remodels, speciality interior
and exterior installations and finishes.

Kate Tirion

CPD: Permaculture consultant, designer, and educator with extensive international teaching and implementation experience. Her credentials include:

  • A specialist in the development of organic and perennial agricultural systems, rainwater harvesting, and soil development and land restoration.
  • Instructor for the University of California’s Ecological Horticulture Program at the Center for AgroEcology and Sustainable Food systems.
  • Designer for 750 hectares, 270 house regenerative village developmentin Mexico’s "hurricane alley." Working as on-site designer, director-implementer, educator and manager, she supervised 30+ Mexican Nationals in working with rainwater harvesting, soil development and perennial agricultural systems, reforestation and erosion control, plant nurseries for natives and edible species.
